The administrative game
I’ve hired out. Maybe a dodge, but it’s certainly an efficiency decision: it now gets done.
Right-side, left-side, my brain goes on vacation when it comes to the querying effort. So, I’d written ALL of the query resources: letter, synopsis, bio, overview, logline, you name it.
My “query manager” (sounds swanky, huh?) does the Publisher’s Marketplace agent search and plugs in the materials each agent requests.
Is it a success? Yet to be determined.
NEXT thing on Jesse’s to-do list is establishing a path to self-publish a very Tarantino-esque, marauding thriller I’d written. This one, I’d be satisfied publishing as Vincent Dunne (my non-literary muse, the rascal that writes horror and naughty bits).
Just write, my muse tells me. We’ll see how prescient or drunk she is. :)
